Soul Support: disability and NDIS support from the Gold Coast to Byron Bay
Who we are
Soul Support is a relationship-first disability and NDIS support service for neurodivergent people aged 17 and over, across the Gold Coast to Byron Bay. Our approach begins with relationships because trust is the foundation that allows young people with disability to communicate, explore, and connect in ways that feel natural and safe.
Who we support
We support teens and young adults with disability across the Gold Coast to Byron Bay. Not everyone communicates in the same way: some young people express themselves through art or rhythm, others use gesture, repetition, or non-verbal forms of communication. We take time to understand each person's individual style and meet them where they are. Self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants are welcome.
Service region
Soul Support delivers in-home and community-based support across the Gold Coast to Byron Bay, including the northern Gold Coast suburbs, the Tweed Coast, Murwillumbah, and the Byron Shire.
Support types
Day-to-day disability support is built around what each person is into. Our four service types are:
- Support: relationship-first 1:1 support, in-home or out in the community, covering daily living, community access, regulation, routines, appointments, and capacity building.
- Groups: social groups and clubs and organic meet-ups that create space for connection and friendship.
- Workshops: creative workshops and ongoing programs, including art, music, movement, DJing, and hands-on making.
- Respite:short-term respite that gives participants a change of scene and families a break, framed around the person's interests.
